The Dive Guide programme along with Dive Science is the first step in an exciting experience not to be missed. You will learn to safely guide certified divers in a variety of environments and conditions.

The first step will be your individual work with the digital theory part via the SSI website or App. We will schedule course days and times with your instructor for classroom and in-water theory sessions.

By preparing dive briefings, doing site assessments and guiding dives, you will become a confident and competent Dive Guide in no time. Start your dive career working as a Divemaster.

During the course you will also complete SSI’s Science of Diving speciality programme to gain a thorough understanding of the underwater world and its effects on the human body. You will immerse yourself in decompression theory, diving physics and physiology.

Upon completion of the course and completion of the PRO requirements, you will be certified in the Science of Diving Specialty and the Dive Guide Specialty for recognition as a Divemaster.
