Update to Open Water Diver
Description
If your current certification is Scuba Diver and you want to upgrade to Open Water Diver, read on for more information.
You will learn everything you need to know about scuba equipment, emergency drills and skills to dive confidently and safely. With this training programme you will complete the part of the theoretical and practical content you were missing from the Open Water Diver.
245,00 €
Upon completion of the course, you will be certified to dive worldwide to a maximum depth of 18 metres.
The first step will be your individual work with the digital theory part of the SSI materials. Once with us at the centre, we will schedule course days and times with your instructor for classroom theory sessions and water sessions: confined and open water.

Training Philosophy – The SSI Diver Diamond
- Knowledge: You will study the material at home and during interactive review sessions, your SSI Professional will teach you “land value to water value” and how the information learned applies to being underwater.
- Skills: The best way to learn skills is through continuous practice and correct repetition. The goal is for the core training skills to become second nature (” Comfort through repetition”).
- Equipment: Understanding how to operate the equipment ensures you will enjoy every minute in and under the water.
- Experience: SSI training develops knowledge and skills, but the only way to get real experience is to go diving frequently.
